Dear ARG and ADAN-UK members,
Further to my earlier email to Africa Research Group (ARG) members, I am pleased to confirm that our next workshop will be held at Nottingham University Business School, Jubilee Campus, Wollaton Road, North Building, Room A76, on Monday 28 April, 2014.

The workshop is an opportunity to share on-going work, completed or otherwise, to learn what other members are doing, and to network. There is no specific format for the submissions and you are welcome to submit extended abstracts or full-length papers. Each presentation will last 20-30 minutes. All submissions should be received by 6 April.
We are also delighted to inform you that ARG is jointly hosting the day with the Africa Diaspora Academic Network–UK (ADAN-UK). ADAN-UK will be launching its mentorship scheme aimed at connecting and pairing up African doctoral students/early academics with more experienced researchers/academics across universities in the UK. The scheme’s vision is to nurture and support the next generation of academic leaders. The chief guest is Prof. Farouk Shakib, the Assistant Pro-Vice Chancellor, University of Nottingham. The launch of the scheme is supported by The Baring Foundation.
